We have officially made it to Friday! Cheers to that!

Do you guys have any big plans for the weekend? Brandon and I are still working on our patio, so our weekends are pretty consumed with that. So nothing too exciting happening in these parts. Excited for the weekend nonetheless.

It’s been a minute since I’ve done one of these update posts. Well let’s be real, prior to last week, it had been a minute since I did any post, but I’m glad to be back…again 🙂


CURRENTLY….

going…to Michigan. Again 🙂 It’s a last minute trip and just for a quick weekend. All my other siblings are home, so of course I want to be there too!

reading…just finished Slightly South of Simple. It’s definitely a light beach read, but it was so good. It ended super abruptly, but there is a second book,The Secret to Southern Charm,  so I’ll be picking that one up shortly.

loving…hereInstagram. I’ve had a very hateful relationship with IG for a long while. As I’ve mentioned, , it was just becoming such a chore. I’ve let go of the whole number games. I post what I want and I am loving it. It’s fun and inspiring again.

eating…Boom Chicka Pop. I’m late to the game here, but all the hype is real. So so good.

drinking…lemon water with ACV. I’ve been back on this kick for a couple months now. It’s not the most delicious concoction, but I 100% believe in the benefits of it, so I’m going to keep it up for as long as possible.

watching…Dexter. Brandon and I started Dexter a couple of weeks ago and have been watching it pretty much every night. I was really into it the first season, but I just can’t decide if I love it or not. The gore is definitely a bit much for me, but there is something else about it as well that I can’t really put my finger on. Have you guys watched Dexter? What are your thoughts?

working…out. I’ll be starting round 2 of BBG next week and I am rather proud of myself. It’s probably the longest I have ever been this consistent with working out and I’m actually enjoying it. Now I just need to get my diet into shape and I’m sure the working out would be much more beneficial.

listening…nothing in particular. Just some random Spotify playlists I put together.

buying…skin care products. I’ve talked about the fact that I’ve never been one to spend a lot of money on beauty products, but that’s changing. I’m pretty happy about it too. The Sephora sale is happening today and I’m actually looking forward to purchasing a couple of things – This foundation…so worth the price and then this facial oil that I’ve heard amazing things about.

planning…my work outfits the night before. I just decided to do this last minute on Sunday night for some reason, but even after just a week, I am 100% going to keep this up. Not only do I not have to rush to find something in the morning, I also feel soooo much better about my choices. My outfits can totally dictate my mood, so it’s nice feeling put together and confident in what I’m wearing.

wondering…whhhhhy I am having a horrible eczema flare up. Like the worst I’ve ever had. It’s the most uncomfortable thing and I have no idea what is causing it. The worst part about the whole thing is that it is constant and doesn’t heal quickly at all. It’s like I got rid of my acne, but it’s just coming back in the form of eczema. So that’s cool.

feeling…exhausted. I recently got back on BC after not being on it for a month (Pharmacy issues) and I’m not kidding the exhaustion was horrible. I’m not 100% sure it was from that, but the BC is the only I can think of, so I’m going with it. I decided to just stop taking it. Once and for all. Cheers. To. That.

    Love this post! Thanks for sharing girl. We have been doing BBG and although we don’t enjoy it, we have seen great results. Can’t wait to go get all the things from Sephora. Happy weekend!
