The Red Sweater Perfect For The Holidays

Except for this time of year. I have no issue wearing red on a regular basis. Don’t get me wrong, I do love a good red piece, but if you follow the blog, you know I tend to stick to a pretty neutral color palette. In reality though, how can one stay away from red during the holidays?

I picked up this red sweater at Abercrombie a couple of weeks ago and have worn it on several occasions. I styled it more casually here with my favorite pair of over-the-knee boots, a perfect weekend look. More recently I dressed it up for the office with a pair of black pants and black pumps. Certainly nothing ground breaking, but it really is a great red sweater that I plan on getting a ton of use out of this holiday. Even afterwards as well.

So did you guys do anything fun this weekend? I was a little MIA last week from the blog, but am determined to get back this week after a fun/productive weekend. We had a low-key Friday night with a bike ride to happy hour, then home to order some pizza and catch up on TV from the week. Saturday we did a bit of Christmas shopping then met some friends for an outdoor movie. The outdoor movie was a lot of fun! Sunday we got some work done around the house, did a little more Christmas shopping and met my brothers for dinner.

Nothing crazy, but it really was a great weekend.

Hope your week is off to a great start!

Red is always a beautiful (and festive) color for this time of year. I love how classic and cozy your sweater looks… it might even convince me to want to wear red, too, LOL (because I am also on that neutral life).

So gorgeous and so festive! I always shop at A&F for comfy clothes. You should def hit up their sweatpants aisle if you’re into all things soft and cozy! <3 xo, Haley Marie
