Clearly these pictures weren’t taken in Phoenix.
These are from when I was in Michigan a few weekends ago. I definitely wouldn’t not be able to wear a warm cozy sweater like this in Phoenix….not without having a heat stroke at least. It was pretty cold in Michigan when I was there and I loved being able to dress all cozy and warm. It’s always a nice change of pace after the Phoenix summers.
The week before I went to Michigan I had a post go live, 3 Sweater & Jacket Combinations for Fall. This outfit is based on the first look I put together in that post. A monochromatic look (kind of) paired with my favorite denim jacket. For me, it was kind of a perfect fall look and I’m looking forward to when I can wear this look again.
If you are in the colder temps, I think this would also make a great Thanksgiving outfit. It’s cozy, but not stuffy, plus it looks nice and put together without being too over-the-top. In my family, dressing to the nines is not necessary on Thanksgiving, but we all still put effort into our looks. So having a Thanksgiving outfit like this is kind of perfect, cozy, yet still chic.
My family is actually coming out to Phoenix for Thanksgiving this year(can.not.wait), so this outfit will probably be out of the question for me. I am looking forward to putting together a Thanksgiving outfit that will work out here. A look that is still comfy and chic, but probably not as cozy.
Do you plan out your Thanksgiving outfit?
And on that note…Happy Friday! There won’t be too much going on here this weekend, mostly just getting things done. The norm 🙂 Do you guys have anything fun going on? Please share!
