So this is what I wore all weekend….
While I’m not usually one to purchase a plain t-shirt, I’m sure glad I decided to purchase this one.
I was on the hunt last Friday to find a cute little outfit for the 4th of July, but everything was falling short for me, but thankfully as I was browsing the racks at Nordstrom I came across this adorable gray tee. You guys, the fabric is insanely soft and how can one say ‘no’ to the ruffle detail on the sleeve?!
After purchasing it on Friday, Brandon and I decided to grab some dinner and you best believe I reached for this gray tee and threw it on with these boyfriend jeans (which I am also living in as of late). Saturday I wore it again during the day with a pair of jean shorts, annnnd today, I am wearing it again 🙂 I can’t help myself.
Even though the ruffle detail is so subtle, I feel like it gives you permission to dress it up a bit more than you could just a plain t-shirt. Which is exactly what I did today for work. My go-to wide leg pants and this gray tee makes for a comfy, yet chic work look. win-win. I also imagine it would look amazing paired with a pencil skirt for another chic work look.
So did everyone have a nice weekend? We kept things pretty low-key around our household. We had just gotten back from our trip last Sunday, so it was nice to have this weekend, with no plans, to unwind a bit and get back on track. Now I’m looking forward to the extra long weekend ahead and hoping to figure out something fun for the Fourth of July that hopefully involves a good fireworks show.
How would you guys style this little gray tee?
Dress it up or keep it casual? Would love to know!
