A Few Favorites…

Happy Monday friends!

Hope you all had a nice weekend. Ours was pretty low key with the exception of a birthday party Saturday night. We enjoyed several bike rides over the weekend and an extremely lazy Sunday.

Luckily I have today off, so I’ll be doing a little catch-up. No complaints though.

I wanted to share with you guys a few things I have been loving lately. A few of my favorites, if you will….

I bought these two products some time last year, but never really felt or saw the benefits of either of them at that time. The reason I decided to give them another shot is because I’ve been off my acne medication for about two months now and really trying to work on putting together a serious skin regimen to avoid having to go back on it.

When I originally tired the Kypris Clearing Serum, my skin was horrible. I used to (knock on wood) get the horrid under-the-skin type of acne and didn’t see much benefit with this. However with the surface breakouts I’ve been experiencing, this stuff is a miracle worker. I’m Ob.Sessed. I’ve tried A LOT of spot treatments and for the surface breakouts, this is by far my favorite to date.

As I mentioned above, I’m really trying to implement a strong skincare regimen and one part of that is double washing my face. I once again started using this Nourishing Oil Cleanser prior to using my face wash to help rid my skin of ALL makeup. I believe I’ve only tried one other oil cleanser, so I don’t have much to compare, but this is one I would definitely purchase again.

To go along with the skincare regimen, I also recently purchased these Gauze Peeling exfoliating pads. I’m just as obsessed with these as well. You use them twice a week and I notice such a difference the next morning after using them. My skin just feels incredibly smooth. Also, the smell. They smell like grape soda…which I guess could be overwhelming, but I LOVE it 🙂

If you know me, you know I’ve been obsessed with Abercrombie as of late. However I’ve been super disappointed in their spring line thus far, with the exception of these Bow Slide Sandals. I’m not much of a girly-girl, but I just couldn’t say know to these pink bow slides. Since getting them, I’ve been wearing them non-stop. They are super comfortable and the perfect spring/summer shoe. If they came in other solid colors* I would totally purchase them all!

*They do come in a gingham pattern, which are super cute, just not for me.

So I’m not really a make-up person. I mean I wear make-up basically everyday, but I’m not one to spend a lot of money on make-up. Drugstore products for me. Buuuut, I’d been seeing this Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation being raved about everywhere and with my birthday coming up (back in December) I decided I was going to treat myself. I was NOT prepared for the price tag when I went to purchase it. Total sticker shock moment, but I just went for it (birthday present, remember?) and I am so glad I did! This stuff really is amazing and I LOVE it. Not going to lie, it’s going to be hard (I think) to convince myself to purchase it again (do I sound crazy?), but I do honestly think it’s worth it, so I’ll probably go for it 🙂

A Book That Takes Time is seriously the cutest! It’s kind of like a journal, I guess because it has all types of activities and things to do. It’s been fun to indulge in every now and then. Plus it has some really great reminders about slowing down and just enjoying life…which is always a lesson worth learning.

So just a quick little round-up of things I thought were worth sharing.

Hope you all have a great week!

Yes, waaaay too many products! I wish I was more into knowing products, but I just tend to stick to the simple ones…working on it though 🙂
