eating…horribly. I swear as soon as that Whole 30 deal was up I just caved and ate whatever I wanted. I’m trying really hard to get back into a healthy mindset and it’s driving me insane. My self control is basically nonexistent.

drinking…Bullet Proof Coffee. I’ve finally found a recipe I like and it’s now something I look forward to every morning. I much prefer it over my normal cup of coffee.

watching…Imposters. I was a little hesitant about this show, but I watched like 10 minutes of the third episode and got completely sucked in. I quickly watched the first 3 episodes On Demand. My TV is on Bravo a good 90% of the time so I shouldn’t be surprised that I love it, but I am. It’s definitely a show I would recommend if you’re looking for something.

going…to Nashville at the end of this month! My little sister lives there and is possibly moving this summer so I made it a point to visit Nashville before she moved. It will be my first time and I’m super excited to both explore the city and spend some quality time with my sister.

reading…Big Magic. I was doing pretty good with reading every night before bed the first bit of the new year, but this past month it slacked big time. Big Magic has been on my night stand for a good few weeks so I’m trying to get into bed early enough to read at least 10 pages every night.

loving…this Kiehl’s Cactus Flower & Tibetan Ginseng face mist. My boss gave it to me to use during the day in the office and I’ve been obsessed with it. It’s seriously so refreshing and gives my skin a serious boost of hydration. Plus it smells ah-mazing. It’s a nice little 2 second escape from the office while I bask in the scent.

working…on getting a newsletter put together for Clothes & Quotes. It’s much harder than I anticipated, but what I have so far I am loving. I’m hoping to send out the first one on Friday assuming it’s up to par. We shall see. I’d love if you would sign up and let me know your thoughts!

listening…to a lot of rap surprisingly enough. Big Sean is like my new favorite and to be honest I have no idea why. Ha! But I am just going to go with it for now.

buying…a little bit here and there. To be honest, I’m trying to really control my spending because as I’ve mentioned a million times I tend to impulse buy, especially online. So I’m giving myself some rules to keep it under control. Buuuut if I were buying anything you can see what it would be here 🙂

planning…some new type of content for the blog. I’ve been seriously craving some creativity lately and I think stepping out of the box (for me) is really going to give me what I’m looking for and help me to stay inspired.

wondering…how people function during the day with only a few hours of sleep. I so wish I was one of those people who could survive off of like 5 hours of sleep, but I swear, if I don’t get at least 7 I am a wreck. I try to get up early to get to the gym on a regular basis, but I’ve decided that if I’m not in bed by 9:30 and able to get 7 hours than that gym can just wait. I need my sleep.

feeling…ready for the weekend?! Yesterday felt so much like Friday (and it was only Wednesday)that I am over this week. Anyone else? I have a spa day planned for Saturday and hoping I can maybe convince Brand to go to a Spring Training game on Sunday.

I’m pretty sure my horrible eating started on Thanksgiving and like never stopped. I mean, my husband made so.many.cutouts. I need to get my butt in gear! I’m with you on the sleep thing. I panic if I’m not in bed by 9! lol

Nashville is awesome!! I haven’t been in several years but I love it there. Now that we are back to being 3 hours away (instead of 6), I should definitely plan a trip there. Looking forward to your new content! Sounds exciting! And I am totally with you on the sleep. My husband can go days on just a few hours of sleep each night, but I need like 8-9 hours to be functioning. But I really prefer more than that.

I am so excited for Nashville! I’ve heard nothing, but things. My husband is the same way, he could sleep like 4 hours and be good for the week. Definitely not me!

Gosh, we have a ton in common! I’m so sure we’d be great friends if we lived close by each other.
So, I’m with ya on the sleep thing. I need 8 or 9. Seriously. It gets annoying but I’ve learned to accept it or else I feel like hell.
Nashville is a fabulous city! I think you’ll have a blast. I almost went to school there, but I met my ex and ended up going to my local fall back. I often wonder how different my life would have turned out if I had moved to Nashville back then. LOL!
Can’t wait to see the new content and the newsletter!
    XO! Gina

I can’t wait to see what you do with a newsletter, Shannon! Had to stop reading the post for a minute so I could subscribe, LOL. Also, I totally agree on getting enough sleep. A lot of my friends can apparently function on a little amount, while I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus if I get less than 7! Hope you’ve had a lovely weekend, lady!
