I moved to Arizona in 2005, two months after I graduated high school. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, so I settled on attending junior college at Scottsdale Community College. I finished three years later, still unclear on what I wanted to do with my life. In 2009 I ended up getting a job where I am currently employed and it’s just worked. I have great mentors and great opportunities that make me excited for my future. However I’ve always felt that I needed a degree. So I went back to college at Arizona State University. After two and half years of college class all year long, I’ve graduated!
As you can see it took me a bit longer than normal to get my bachelor degree, so I was hesitant to walk in the graduation ceremony, but my parents and grandma flew in from Michigan so I really had no choice 🙂 When it’s all said done I am glad I walked. It was a fun and proud experience for me.
A sense of closure long over due.
